By April 2018, all companies with 250 or more employees will be legally required to publish their gender pay figures in an attempt to fight workplace discrimination.
The Equal Pay Act may have been introduced in 1970, but women across Britain are still fighting to close the pay gap that exists between both genders today. Shockingly, due to the disparity between male and female salaries, women in the UK are effectively working for free from 16 October until the end of the year.
