- Vital in highlighting staff issues
- Works with numerous payroll systems
- Produces tailored reports
Robinson Consumer Packaging was looking to move away from its manual clocking system at the same time as transferring around 150 staff members to annualised hours.
The company needed a solution that would be capable of providing up-to-date records and weekly payroll reports, with minimum input from management.
A growing number of industries are increasingly moving towards annualised hour systems as it helps human resources plan staffing cover efficiently. However, it does mean an advanced attendance system is required so that processes can be implemented appropriately, especially during busy periods.
Benefiting from efficiency savings
Mitrefinch installed a Time and Attendance system to meet the HR needs of Robinson Packaging and the solution has been welcomed by the company’s analyst programmer.
Stuart Yates believes on a day-to-day basis, the clocking-in and out system has improved efficiency for staff and played a key role in highlighting potential problems.
“We have found TMS to be far more effective than our previous manual system and it is easy to manage, with a wealth of information available at the press of a button. We also use the information captured by TMS for calculating wages and transfer the working hours data directly to the payroll department. This has saved us a considerable amount of time.”
Robinson Consumer Packaging has also realised the unexpected benefits of Mitrefinch’s Report Writer, especially the ability to create specific reports tailored to their business needs.
